Bhutan Baccalaureate Learning Process

The Bhutan Baccalaureate is a ‘wholistic’ approach to education focused on creating an enabling environment for learners (both children and adults) to actualise their innate potential. At the heart of the BB is a dynamic Learning Process grounded in the understanding that learning is a combination of personal and social processes. It emphasises that meaningful education must be owned by the learner and shaped by their context. Consequently, while the BB originates from Bhutan, it is not bound by geography or culture. Instead, it offers a globally relevant approach to education that can be meaningfully adapted to diverse communities and contexts.
